1. Do brain exercises diligently: Whenever you find yourself questioning your decision and lamenting that you “can’t drink anymore,” correct your thought pattern and affirm that you don’t have to drink anymore! You are free! Use the lists from the first task to help you during weak moments.
2. Read inspiring peer stories. Borrow books from the library that deal with the topic and read peer stories online.
3. Make use of the course’s FB group.
4. Meet friends whom you know are on your side.
5. Listen to music that lifts your spirits (you will receive suggestions via email) but does not trigger cravings for alcohol.
6. Replace alcohol with tasty non-alcoholic alternatives.
7. Listen to your body, rest, spend time outdoors, enjoy a sauna, and pamper yourself. Be gentle with yourself <3
