Forgiveness and asking for forgiveness bring freedom.

III/I Getting to Know Yourself and Discovering the Root Causes Behind the Alcohol Problem

  1. Start listening to yourself and your emotions; you can also write them down in the notebook you started using at the beginning of the course.

2.

When you experience a weak moment and crave alcohol, listen to yourself and try to identify the emotion you are trying to escape from at that moment.

3.

Gradually, you will begin to find the root causes of your emotional blocks, and then you can start forgiving and letting go of the past.

4.

Forgive yourself and forgive the person who caused your emotional blocks.

5.

Ask for forgiveness if you have wronged someone.

6.

If you feel that you need help dealing with traumas, seek therapy. It is important to trust your therapist, so change therapists until you find the right one for you.
